Lanzada is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 150 kilometres (93 mi) northeast of Milan and 18 kilometres (11 mi) north of Sondrio, on the border with Switzerland. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,445 and an area of 116.1 square kilometres (44.8 sq mi).[3]
