Kuzovatovsky District (Russian: Кузова́товский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the twenty-one in Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,098 square kilometers (810 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Kuzovatovo.[1] Population: 22,377 (2010 Census);[3] 27,225 (2002 Census);[7] 30,218 (1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of Kuzovatovo accounts for 35.8% of the district's total population.[3]
