Khokholsky District

Khokholsky District (Russian: Хохо́льский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,451 square kilometers (560 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Khokholsky.[1] Population: 29,639 (2021 Census);[7] 29,814 (2010 Census);[3] 32,889 (2002 Census);[8] 39,700 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of the administrative center accounts for 26.8% of the district's total population.[7]
