Johnson starred on Nickelodeon's All That sketch comedy show from 1994 to 1997. As part of the show's original cast, she played characters such as the "Lemonade Scammer".[1] She also did impressions of Roseanne Barr and Ross Perot in many episodes. Johnson returned for the 100th episode, along with fellow All That alumni Angelique Bates, Lori Beth Denberg, and Alisa Reyes. She also returned for the All That 10th Anniversary special.
During her time on All That, Johnson was also performing stand-up comedy at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles.[2]
Johnson reunited with several of her former cast members on All That at the 2011 Comikaze Expo. As of 2014, Johnson lived in Las Vegas where she hosted an online radio show, Uncensored Radio's "Guilty Pleasures",[2][1] although the show went off the air in 2015. Uncensored Radio was rebooted as a podcast in 2020 where she co-hosted with actress Karen Ashley.[3] Johnson will return to acting by appearing in the upcoming film, Black Creek, slated for release in 2024.[3]
She appeared on the 2024 docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, and later appeared in an interview with Fox 5 Atlanta. She said that All That creator Dan Schneider – who has been accused by several former Nickelodeon stars of abusive, inappropriate behavior - did not mistreat or exploit her, but she expressed disappointment that she did not receive the starring vehicle that Schneider promised her, and that the show's producers told her parents that she was "getting too fat".[3]
