Karen Leinani Awana[2] is an American politician and a former Democratic member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing District 43. Her term ended on November 4, 2014. Awana served consecutively from January 2007 until 2013 in the District 44 seat. Awana changed parties on December 19, 2007.[3]
