Jordan James (born March 29, 2004)[1] is an American football running back for the Oregon Ducks.

In James's senior season at Oakland High School, he rushed for 1,653 yards and 24, where he earned all-area Player of the Year honors, as he led his high school to a class 6A state title.[2][3] James was ranked as a four star prospect and as the 16 best running back in the class of 2022.[4] James would decide to commit to play college football at the University of Oregon over other schools such as Florida and Georgia.[5][6]
In week seven of the 2022 season, James had a breakout game rushing ten times for 69 yards and a touchdown, in a 49-22 win over Arizona.[7] James finished his true freshman season in 2022 with 189 yards and five touchdowns on 46 carries, while also one reception for six yards.[8] In week one of the 2023 season, James rushed ten times for 86 yards and three touchdowns, as he helped the Ducks dominate Portland State 81-7.[9] In week five, James rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on just six carries, in a win over Stanford.[10] In week eight, James would rush the ball 13 times for 103 yards, as helped Oregon beat Washington State 38-24.[11]
