Irene "The Alien" Dubois[2] is the stage name of Ian Hill,[3] an American drag performer most known for competing on the fifteenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Hill attended Southern Methodist University[4] and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theater.[3]
Hill worked with Houston Grand Opera and Texas Repertory Theatre.[5] He began doing drag in Dallas, during college, and has worked as a drag queen since age 25.[6]
Based in Seattle,[7][8] Irene Dubois has performed at Julia's on Broadway[9] and Queer Bar,[10] where she co-hosted the weekly show "The Mothership" with Bosco, as of 2022.[11] Drag "sister" to Bosco,[12][13][14] Irene Dubois is known for her "bizarre and otherworldly"[15] looks and alien-inspired drag.[16] Being a fan of Patricia Arquette and Medium, her stage name was inspired by Allison DuBois.[17]
Irene Dubois won the So You Think You Can Drag competition in 2018,[18] earning her a cash prize and a recurring role in R Place's drag show "Lashes".[19] She also appeared in Tacocat's music video for "Grains of Salt".[20] During the COVID-19 pandemic, she participated in R Place's weekly online show "Lashes Living Room".[21]
Irene Dubois competed on the fifteenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.[22][23] After winning the first mini challenge,[24][25] she was the first contestant eliminated from the competition.[26] For the talent show challenge, she taught viewers how to prepare a glass of ice water.[27][28] Irene Dubois lost the lip sync battle against Amethyst to Ariana Grande's "7 Rings" (2019).[29] Irene Dubois wore a purple and silver gown to the season 15 red carpet.[30] She has said she did receive enough air time on the show.[31]
While season 15 aired, Irene Dubois' Instagram following grew from 18,200 to 113,000 (a 521 percent increase).[32]
