The International Association of Innovation Professionals (IAOIP) announced in August 2023 that it would merge with the Global Innovation Management Institute (GIMI) based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States, creating the world's largest professional organization dedicated to innovation management. This strategic union aims to leverage the strengths of both organizations, enhancing their ability to provide comprehensive innovation management certification programs, training courses, and thought leadership. The merger is expected to drive innovation excellence globally by offering a robust suite of services to corporates, governments, academia, and nonprofits. The combined entity will also focus on advancing innovation ISO standards and fostering a vibrant community of innovation practitioners.
