Hotkan Rural District (Persian: دهستان حتكن) is in the Central District of Zarand County, Kerman province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Hotkan.[4]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 1,247 in 384 households.[5] There were 679 inhabitants in 257 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 898 in 311 households. The most populous of its 78 villages was Hotkan, with 253 people.[2]
