Hook is a 2022 Pakistani television series written by Shahid Dogar and Shagufta Bhatti, and directed by Mohsin Mirza, produced by Abdullah Seja under the banner of IDream Entertainment. It originally aired on ARY Digital from December 2022 to July 2023.[1][2][3][4]

Jafar Elahi is a powerful feudal lord and a businessman who is married to a woman, Memoona, elder than him. Missing happiness in his domestic life, he wishes all bliss for his younger brother, Shaheer. Shaheer has just returned from aboard and is in love with his university fellow, Haya. Haya is an orphan girl living with her sister, Safia and brother-in-law, Aziz who want to get her married as soon as possible. Haya does not consider Shaheer worth marrying but instead loves Zayan. Haya and Zayan gets engaged, but Shaheer being madly in love with Haya does not digest Haya getting married to someone else other than him. Shaheer confronts Zayan and during an altercation, Zayan unintentionally shot Shaheer, killing Shaheer. Jafar enraged by his brother's murder seeks revenge on Haya and Zayan by marrying Haya creating chaos in the lives of people around them.
The serial was first announced in 2021 revealing Faysal and Kinza to be the main lead. The serial marks the return of veteran actress, Saima Noor to television after her serial Kho Gaya Woh aired in 2018.[5] The serial marks second appearance of Noor and Qureshi together after Rang Laaga.
