Homeyl (Persian: حميل; pronounced [hoˈmejl])[lower-alpha 1] is a city in, and the capital of, Homeyl District of Eslamabad-e Gharb County, Kermanshah province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Homeyl Rural District.[5]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 1,303 in 306 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,363 people in 366 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 1,317 people in 377 households.[2]
