The group comprises 25 companies operating across sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, real estate and hospitality, and renewable energy. Agriculture

Golyan Group has diversified its investment in the agriculture sector through Janata Agro and Forestry Limited.[16]

Janata Agro and Forestry Limited

Janata Agro and Forestry Limited specializes in agricultural and forestry products.[17] Recently, it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)[18] with Kasetsart University, Thailand to promote organic farming and advanced agricultural practices. The agreement was signed on April 2, 2025 by Janata Agro President Mr. Pawan Golyan and Kasetsart University Vice President Dr. Krit Won-in, aiming to modernize Nepal's agricultural sector with advanced techniques, sustainable farming methods, and improved farmer livelihoods.[19]

MATO

MATO is the first FMCG[clarification needed] brand of Golyan Group, launched in 2019 with an aim to revive Nepal's agricultural sector, empowering farmers, and promoting sustainable farming practices.[20] Mato is the Nepali word for soil, aims to scale agricultural production across Nepal by establishing strong demand links in both domestic and international markets. Currently, the brand has over 125+ SKUs within 7 outlets in Kathmandu and major retail stores.[21][22]

Ashapuri Organic is an organic company based in Nepal, founded in 2002 with the establishment of Ashapuri Organic Farm.[23] The company is committed to promoting and producing organic foods, including vegetables, fruits, tea, and coffee. Ashapuri Organic Farm is a 100% certified organic and one of the country's largest organic farms. The company prides itself on its commitment to organic farming practices, which involve using natural fertilizers and pesticides and avoiding genetically modified organisms.[24]

Reliance Spinning Mills Ltd.

Reliance Spinning Mills Ltd. (RSML), established in 1994 A.D. is the largest spinning mills[26] in Nepal with an investment of NPR. 15.5 Billion.[27][28] The company operates two factories: Unit A located at Khanar, Sunsari, and Unit B located at Duhabi, Sunsari, Nepal. RSML utilizes machinery from textile machinery manufacturers such as LMW, Savio, Schlafhorst/Saurer, Vijay Laxmi, Peass, Mylon, Murata, Rieter & Aalidhra Textool.[28]

The company is a market leader of Nepal in yarn exports making it the single largest exporting company of Nepal with exports exceeding 1200 CR in 2025[29] and the country's largest employer.[30]

RSML engages in manufacturing Polyester, Viscose, and Acrylic, and their various blends in grey, dyed, melange yarn & DTV yarns. RSML's installed capacity of 79,824 ring spindles & 960 vortex spindles (Equivalent to 19,200 ring spindles) makes the factory capable of producing 40,680 tons of yarn annually. The company also completed the expansion of 1,440 vortex spindles (Equivalent to 28.800 ring spindles) and an open end plant & additional TFO twisters for making the factory capable of producing an additional 8,280 tons annually. After this recent commissioning of two new production lines in June 2023, the Company's installed capacity brings the total production to 120MT/day.[31]

Tricot Nepal

Tricot Industries was established in 1999 A.D., Tricot Industries is a luxury knitwear manufacturer with the largest knitting unit in the country and a strong global presence. In addition to cashmere, it crafts premium garments from wool, silk, linen, and organic cotton.

Shivam Plastic Industry

Established in 2000, Shivam Plastic Industries Ltd. is a manufacturer of Polypropylene woven fabric. Polypropylene woven fabric has replaced jute in most instances and is used for various industrial and packaging solutions. Its products are sold both in the domestic market and exported, primarily to India. It has a production capacity of 10,000 metric tons per annum (MTPA) of woven fabric. Shivam Plastic Industry is a joint venture of the Golyan Group family and the Agarwal family. It is also Nepal's sole manufacturer of Super Paulin, a very strong, light-weight and water-resistant tarpaulin.[39]

Pure Energy II achieved operational status and commenced commissioning in May 2023, while Pure Energy I started operations in December 2023.[47] Other solar projects are in different stages of development.

Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu

Hyatt Regency Lumbini

Hyatt Regency Lumbini is a premier 175-room resort set to open in Lumbini by 2029.[55] It marks Hyatt's fourth-brand[56] presence in Nepal —and is the second property in partnership with Golyan Group.  The hotel covers 11 acres and features elegant accommodations, multiple dining venues, event spaces, a wellness spa, outdoor pool, fitness centre, and other modern amenities. Corporate Social Responsibility

Golyan Group has pledged a comprehensive support for the families of Gen-Z Martyrs.

1. Educational support for their younger siblings and children up to the 12th standard, nurturing dreams, talent and opportunity.

2. Comprehensive health insurance coverage for the parents of the martyred, ensuring their well-being and security in the years to come.

On 25th November, 2025, Golyan Group successfully completed the first phase of its scholarship initiative for the children of Gen Z martyrs with the signing of the Tripartite Agreement[58] alongside the families and partner educational institutions. The Tripartite Agreement includes education support to children covering tuition fees, hostel facilities, meals, transportation, learning materials, uniforms, and access to extracurricular programs announcing a monthly scholarships of up to NPR 40,000 for 32 children.[59]

On World Children’s Day, the group hosted a “Kids' Play Date”[60] event with these children to encourage joy, safety, and optimism among them. Golyan Group is committed to the children’s well-being—not only through education, but through support, opportunity, and encouragement.
