Gilberto Rafael Mora Zambrano (born 14 October 2008) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or Winger for Liga MX club Tijuana.

Early life

Mora was born on 14 October 2008 in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Mexico. He is the son of Mexican footballer Gilberto Mora.[1]

Career

As a youth player, Mora joined the youth academy of Mexican side Tijuana. He was described as "one of the most outstanding elements in the lower divisions of the team".[2] He started his senior career with the club at age 15, making him one of the youngest players to debut in Liga Mx. On 19 August 2024, he debuted for them during a 3–1 win in which he assisted the 3rd goal over Santos Laguna. On 31 August 2024, he scored his first goal for them during a 2–1 win over León. He became the youngest player to score a goal in the Mexican top flight.[3]

Mora is a Mexico youth international. He has played for the Mexico national under-15 team, Mexico national under-16 team, and Mexico national under-17 team. He made sixteen appearances and scored nine goals while playing for the Mexico national under-15 team.


He was part of the provisional 60-man squad list for the senior Mexico national team for the 2025 CONCACAF Nations League Finals and later also part of the 60-man squad list for the 2025 CONCACAF Gold cup.
