Galinhada is a stew of rice with chicken, which is a typical Brazilian dish in the states of São Paulo, Goiás, Paraná and Minas Gerais.[1]

The name comes from galinha, Portuguese for "chicken", and is pronounced [ɡalĩˈɲadɐ].
