Gaetano Tranchino is an Italian Naïve painter of still life.[1] His work mainly depicts Sicily.

Biography
Gaetano Tranchino was born in Syracuse, Sicily in 1938.[2] He debuted his first exhibition in Milan 1964,[2][3] and later exhibited his work across Italy and abroad. He is a friend of the writer Leonardo Sciascia, who reviewed his work in the newspaper Corriere della sera, and the photographer Ferdinando Scianna.
