Hubbard started his career with Swindon Town and made his debut during an away defeat to Reading in the EFL Trophy group stage. His second appearance, when Hubbard came on as a substitute in the FA Cup First Round against Aldershot Town. [1]
After finishing the academy league season Hubbard moved to Melksham Town on loan for the remainder of the season.[2]
