The Eightieth session of the United Nations General Assembly is the upcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly, scheduled to begin on 9 September 2025.[1] The president of the General Assembly will be elected from the Western European and Others Group.[a]
- The presidency rotates annually between the five geographic groups: African, Asia-Pacific, Eastern European, Latin American and Caribbean, and Western European and other States.[2]
