Di Giorgio is an unincorporated community and census designated place (CDP) in Kern County, California.^[2] It is located 6.5 miles (10 km) south of Edison,^[3] at an elevation of 495 feet (151 m).^[2]

The first post office at Di Giorgio opened in 1944.^[3] The name honors Joseph Di Giorgio, agricultural entrepreneur and founder of DiGiorgio Corporation.^[3] Di Giorgio overlies the large Mountain View Oil Field, and gives its name to one of the field's many productive areas.
