Deva Cassel

Deva Cassel (born 12 September 2004) is an Italian-French model and actress. Cassel is the daughter of Italian actress Monica Bellucci and French actor Vincent Cassel. She is a brand ambassador for Cartier and Dior.^[2][3]

Cassel has appeared in numerous Dolce & Gabbana fragrance ads, as well as walking their women's "Alta Moda" fashion shows in 2021 and 2022. She made her film debut in the 2023 Italian drama The Beautiful Summer.

Early life

Deva Cassel was born on 12 September 2004 in Rome, Italy, but grew up in Paris and Rio de Janeiro.^[4] Her parents are prominent Italian model and actress Monica Bellucci and French actor Vincent Cassel.^[2] Deva is multilingual speaking five languages, most notably French and Italian.^[2] She has three younger siblings, two of whom are from her father's other relationships: Léonie (b. 2010), a half-sister, Amazonie (b. 2019),^[5] and half-brother, Caetano (b. 2025), respectively.^[6][7]

Career

Modeling

Cassel made her debut at the Dolce & Gabbana show in 2021.^[8] She was also on the cover of Vogue Italia for the July issue in 2021 along with her mother, Monica Bellucci.^[9] In 2020, she was part of the fragrance campaign for Dolce & Gabbana Shine and was featured on the cover of French Elle.^[10]

The following two years saw her take part in further Dolce & Gabbana fragrance campaigns, Dolce Rose and Dolce Lily and in 2022 she was part of the beauty campaign.^[11]

In 2023, she starred in the Dolce Violet fragrance ad and beauty campaign.^[8]

In 2024, she appeared in the Dior Beauty look campaign.^[8]

She was featured on the 60th anniversary cover of Vogue Italia in September 2024.^[12]

Acting

Cassel made her acting debut in the 2023 indie film The Beautiful Summer and appears as Angelica Sedara in the 2025 Netflix series The Leopard.^[2]

Personal life

She has publicly been in a relationship with Italian actor Saul Nanni, whom she met while filming The Leopard, since October 2023.^[2]
