Deoptilia heptadeta is a moth of the family Gracillariidae. It is known from Japan (the Ryukyu Islands, Kyūshū, Shikoku, Honshū, Tusima, the Amami Islands) and Taiwan.[2]

The larvae feed on Mallotus japonicus. They mine the leaves of their host plant.
