David Frank Long (born September 6, 1944) is an American former professional football defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) who played seven seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals and New Orleans Saints. Long played college football at the University of Iowa.[1] He was drafted in the third round of the 1966 NFL draft with the 43rd overall pick.[2]
