Leahy started playing football at a young age.[1]
Leahy started his career with English side Coventry City.[2] Before the 2018 season, he signed for Irish side Bohemians, where he was regarded as an important player for the club.[3] Before the 2020 season, he signed for Irish side Dundalk.[citation needed]
Leahy was regarded as a Republic of Ireland prospect.[4]
Leahy can operate as a central defender or left-back.[5]
Leahy has been a supporter of Irish side Shelbourne.[6]
