Watcher, an angel in the Book of Enoch From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Daniel (Hebrew: דניאל, Ancient Greek: Δανειήλ), also spelled Dânêl, is an angel, the seventh mentioned of the 20 Watcher leaders of the 200 angels in the Book of Enoch, who taught the "signs of the sun" to humans. The name is translated by Michael Knibb[1] as "God has judged".
Conversely, according to Francis Barrett in The Magus, Daniel is the name of one of the 72 holy angels bearing the name of God, Shemhamphorae.
Daniel is one of the highest-ranked angels in the universe. He is also considered the angel of marriage, the angel of universal love, and the principle guardian angel. Like all other Archangels, he was created and chosen by God to assist humanity through the ascension process because it is believed that Daniel is the one in charge of the gates of Ascension.
