Chris Hutchison

Chris Hutchison is an American stage actor, director, teacher and voice actor. The 2023 season is his 17th year as a company member at the Alley Theatre in Houston.^[1]

Career

Hutchison holds a B.A. in English from Lafayette College, where he sometimes teaches, and an M.F.A. from the University of Washington.^[1] He also teaches acting at the University of Houston.^[1]

During his five years at the Alley Theater, Hutchison has performed in over twenty productions,^[1] including A Behanding in Spokane (Mervyn),^{[5] [6]} Mauritius (Dennis),^[7][8] The Lieutenant of Inishmore (Padraic),^[9] Death on the Nile (Simon Mostyn),^[10] Subject to Fits (Ippolit),^[11] Proof (Hal),^[12] and A Christmas Carol (Bob Cratchit).^[13]

Personal

Hutchison's brother, Brian Hutchison,^[17] is also an actor. Hutchison is married to fellow Alley Theatre Resident Acting Company member Elizabeth Bunch and has 2 children.
