Chenarud-e Jonubi Rural District

Not to be confused with Chenarud District or Chenarud-e Shomali Rural District.

Chenarud-e Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان چنارود جنوبي)^[3] is in the Chenarud District of Chadegan County, Isfahan province, Iran.^[4] Its capital is the village of Owregan.^[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 2,651 in 570 households.^[6] There were 2,421 inhabitants in 679 households at the following census of 2011.^[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 1,945 in 563 households. The most populous of its 26 villages was Owregan, with 651 people.^[2]
