"Professional thief Mason attempts his biggest heist with his brother, robbing a bank. When it goes wrong, they're trapped inside surrounded by law enforcement. Tension rises as Mason negotiates with his ex-lover, the lead negotiator".[5]
Principal photography occurred in Columbus, Georgia in June 2022.[6][7][8]
Cash Out was released digitally and in limited theaters by Saban Films on April 26, 2024.[9]
On Rotten Tomatoes, 20% of 20 reviews are considered positive, with an average rating of 3.7/10.[10] As per Metacritic, the film has received "mixed or average reviews", with a weighted average score of 46/100 based on 6 critics' ratings.[11]
As of October 13, 2024, Cash Out grossed $52,173 in South Korea.[2][3]
A sequel, Cash Out 2: High Rollers, was also directed by Randall Emmett under his pseudonym Ives.[4] It was filmed in April 2023 and was shot at the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in D'Iberville, Mississippi and other locations across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.[12][13]
