Bretteville-sur-Odon (French pronunciation: [bʁɛtvil syʁ ɔdɔ̃] ⓘ, literally Bretteville on Odon) is a commune in the department of Calvados in the Normandy region in northwestern France. It lies on the river Odon, about 5 km (3.1 mi) west of Caen.
