Birlestik-2024 (Kazakh: Бірлестік-2024) was a joint command and staff military exercise of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan.[1][2] Carried out during July 9–17, 2024, they are the first military exercise in Central Asia without participation of China and Russia.[3] The name Бірлестік means "alliance" in Kazakh.[4]
