Bethel Township is one of ten townships in Posey County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 245.[3]

Bethel Township was organized in 1821.[5] The township was named for P. C. Bethel, a pioneer settler.[6]
It is within the Metropolitan School District of North Posey County,[7] which operates North Posey High School.
