At the international level, he competed with the Japanese men's team at the 2024 World Men's Curling Championship, where they finished 11th. Also, Nakahara medaled silver at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics as the second on the Japanese mixed team.[3]
At the national level, he is a silver and bronze medalist at the Japan Curling Championships.
