Following the breakup of AA in 2014[citation needed], Aoora pursued a solo career, establishing himself with a discography that includes pop, R&B, and electronic dance music. His song “Because I’m Crazy” has been well-received.[2]
In September 2023, Aoora and fellow K-pop artist DJ Fridayy performed multiple concerts in India as part of a cultural celebration commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and South Korea.[3] As a result, Aoora gained attention for highlighting Indo-Korean collaborations and inclusivity in his music.[4][5][3]
Aoora started his career as a K-pop idol in the boy band AA. His solo career as a music producer started in 2014.[citation needed] In May 2016, he withdrew from AA.[6] In 2023, he started his musical journey in India. He became the first Korean to be part of India’s reality show Big boss season 17. He also appeared on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 11 in January 2024.[7]
