Anopolis

Anopolis (Ancient Greek: Ἀνώπολις) was a town and polis (city-state)^[1] of ancient Crete.^[2] Stephanus of Byzantium claims Anopolis an earlier name of, rather than a predecessor settlement to, Araden (Ἀραδήν)^[3]

Its site is located near modern Anopoli.^[2][4]
