Annette Rochelle Lee (born 10 July 1992) is a Singaporean singer-songwriter, scriptwriter and YouTube personality. She is known for her short video series on social media such as #ChatsWithChantelle, #AsianParentTings, YouTube shows like Glowing Up and News Plannette. She had previously started out on popular Singaporean social media platform SGAG's comedic videos under the persona "Sue Ann".[1]

Early life
Born in Singapore on 10 July 1992 to parents of Peranakan descent, Lee studied at Saint Andrew's Junior College and graduated from the Nanyang Technological University's School of Art Design and Media.[2]

Prior to joining SGAG, her short films Keep Mum and Graduation were featured in the Singapore Short Film Awards, Cana Film Festival, Hong Kong International Mobile Film Awards.[3][4]
Lee was first brought to the attention of the SGAG founders from her blog,[2][5] in which she drew comics and shared stories about her life.[6] She joined SGAG in February 2016 to start the video team.[7][8]
Since 2020, she has left SGAG and now creates her own shows for her own platforms.[9] She also sometimes collaborates with various Singapore Government agencies and organisations like SCDF and Ministry of Health in public service campaigns.[10] She has also featured for a video under the persona of "Chantelle", where she humorously interviewed Korean stars Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Kwang Soo, and SNSD's Yuri.[11] She also conduct interview with Joanne Peh under the persona of "Auntie Susan".[12] Lee has hosted events, including K-pop star Jackson Wang’s book launch, and co-hosts Adventure of the Day with Zermatt Neo, a show available on Singapore Airlines' in-flight entertainment.[13] She performed at a concert at Esplanade, documented in a one-hour special by Mediacorp.[14]
Lee launched the web series Asian Billionaires, a satirical show that humorously explores the lives of fictional wealthy personalities.[15] Lee has been listed on Forbes’ 30 Under 30[16] and Prestige’s 40 Under 40 lists.[17] She has featured on cover page of Her World and Prestige magazines.[18]

Music
In September 2017, Lee released her first musical work, an EP titled All Our Achilles Heels. Her album was awarded the National Arts Council presentation grant.[19] In August 2017, Lee released her first music video on YouTube, entitled Ready for a Savior.[20] Her second music video release in March 2018 was titled None Good.[21] Lee is also known for The Ann & Ben Show, a music video series created with fellow Singaporean artist Benjamin Kheng.[22] The show, which highlights humorous takes on everyday Singaporean life, includes the song"Cai Fan Song," which has amassed over 1.4 million views.[23]
Personal life
Lee married Raphael Foo, a hedge fund manager in 2017.[24] She gave birth to their son, Wes Lucas Foo, in November 2022.[25][26] She is a Christian and has spoken publicly about her faith.[27]
