Amath Yashya

Amath Yashya or Amadh Yahya^[1] (Khmer: អះម៉ាត់ យ៉ះយ៉ា) is a Cambodian politician. He belongs to the Sam Rainsy Party and was elected to represent Kampong Cham Province in the National Assembly of Cambodia in 2003.^[2] Yahya is an ethnic Cham.^[3]

In this Cambodian name, the surname is Amath. In accordance with Cambodian custom, this person should be referred to by the given name, Yashya.
