Acidomonas methanolica is an acidophilic, facultatively methylotrophic bacterium from the genus Acidomonas, which was isolated from septic methanol yeast in East Germany.[4][5][6] Acidomonas methanolica is the only known species from the genus Acidomonas.[1]
