Abir Gulaal is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film produced by Vivek B. Agrawal and directed by Aarti S. Bagdi, starring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor.[1][2]

Premise
Gulaal Bajaj has always dreamed of living a life independent of her father’s rules and regulations. Winning a food contest gets her a job in London as a chef for a Restaurant called The Rasoe. The owner of which, she has already crossed paths with, Abir Singh. As Gulaal flies of with this new found freedom, it’s Abir who has suddenly been handed the role of the baby sitter by Gulaal’s father and he reaches at every moment to save Gulaal from one disaster to another. What started as two flirts and then turned into enemies slowly blossoms into a love that neither could have imagined but as past secrets unfold, their relationship strains. But as Gulaal goes to mend the past by sacrificing her love for Abir, it ends up brining them closer than ever

Production
The film was first reported to be in development in July 2024.[4] It is directed by Aarti S. Bagdi and produced by Indian Stories and A Richer Lens Entertainment. Producers include Vivek B. Agrawal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy.[5]
The cast is led by Fawad Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Riddhi Dogra, Lisa Haydon, Farida Jalal, Soni Razdan, Parmeet Sethi and Rahul Vohra.[6][7] The film has a supporting cast from India and UK.[8]
Principal photography took place in London, England from 29 September 2024 with a filming schedule lasting into October and November.[9][10]
