On April 15, 2025, the American professional wrestling promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) filed to trademark "Summer Blockbuster".^[1] On April 17, the company announced that Summer Blockbuster would be a television special, airing as a special episode of AEW's flagship program, Wednesday Night Dynamite. The event was scheduled to be held on June 11, 2025, at the Theater of the Clouds at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
