The 2024 season was the 17th season for the Indian Premier League franchise Punjab Kings. They were one of the ten teams competed in the 2024 Indian Premier League. They finished at the 8th place in previous season's League stage.[1]

After their 8th loss on 9 May 2024, Punjab was eliminated from the 2024 Indian Premier League.[2][3] They finished the League stage at the 9th place with 5 wins and 9 losses, garnering 10 points.[4]
Harshal Patel took the most wickets in the season (24)[5] and was awarded with ₹10 lakh (US$13,000) cash prize along with the Purple Cap.[6]
