The 2023 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships was the 12th edition of the World Championships for road cycling for athletes with a physical disability. The championships took place in Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland from 9 to 14 August 2023.[1] The championships form part of the inaugural cross-discipline 2023 UCI World Cycling Championships.
Events are held in four broad categories, with four different types of bicycle, denoted by a letter-number code:
As a general rule, the lower the number in the race code (e.g., C4 or H2), the greater the level of impairment.
