1913 Lincoln Tigers football team

The 1913 Lincoln Blue Tigers football team represented Lincoln Institute—now known as Lincoln University—in Jefferson City, Missouri as an independent during the 1913 college football season. Led by head coach Romeo West, the Lincoln football team finished the season with a record of 1–1 after defeating Quinn Dairies of Kansas City, Missouri on the road. Students celebrated the triumph when West telegraphed with the score. West was a Lincoln alumus, coached various other sports at the school, and held a teaching position during his time at Lincoln.[1]
