Zolotukhinsky District (Russian: Золоту́хинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,150 square kilometers (440 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Zolotukhino.[1] Population: 21,151 (2021 Census);[7] 22,914 (2010 Russian census);[3] 26,800 (2002 Census);[8] 31,564 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Zolotukhino accounts for 21.2% of the district's total population.[7]
