Ziminsky District

Ziminsky District (Russian: Зими́нский райо́н) is an administrative district, one of the thirty-three in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia.[1] Municipally, it is incorporated as Ziminsky Municipal District.[5] The area of the district is 7,000 square kilometers (2,700 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the town of Zima[2] (which is not administratively a part of the district).[1] Population: 13,383 (2010 Russian census);[3] 14,420 (2002 Census);[7] 15,833 (1989 Soviet census).[8]
