In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Olaya and the second or maternal family name is Requene.
Ángela Yesenia Olaya Requene is a Colombian academic, sociologist, teacher of pedagogy and doctor in anthropology, graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. In 2019 she served as academic coordinator for the Afro-Latin American Studies Certificate at Harvard University.[4]
