Voskresensky District, Moscow Oblastmap

Voskresensky District (Russian: Воскре́сенский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-six in Moscow Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 812.480 square kilometers (313.700 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Voskresensk.[1] Population: 153,600 (2010 Census);[3] 152,761(2002 Census);[6] 77,573(1989 Soviet census).[7] The population of Voskresensk accounts for 59.5% of the district's total population.[3]
