Viscount Hanworth, of Hanworth in the County of Middlesex, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom.[1]
The title was created on 17 January 1936 for the judge turned Conservative Member of Parliament who achieved the judicial position of Master of the Rolls, Ernest Pollock, 1st Baron Hanworth. He had already been created a Baronet, of Hanworth in the County of Middlesex, on 27 November 1922, in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom,[2] and Baron Hanworth, of the same territorial designation, on 28 January 1926.[3] As of 2017[update] the titles are held by his great-grandson, the third Viscount, who succeeded his father in 1996.
