According to Cricinfo editor Will Luke, the side was intially not popular amongst the teams that it played on its rise to prominence, with one-eyed keenness being taken for a win-at-all-costs attitude. Raees Ahmadzai confirmed this perception of insufferable enthusiasm, saying that cricket is all that his peers ever think about. "We play professional cricket," he told Luke. "We don't have a job; we only ever talk about cricket, always searching online about cricket. No-one has a job; we can't. No-one can pay; we have no sponsor. The only money we get is for our clothes. The ICC pay for the flights. So no one gets a monthly salary, and I've never had a job, in fact; none of us have. Thanks to our families, we are so lucky."[1]
Meanwhile, John emails in from Australia: "If this isn't the luckiest innings of all time then I'm going to China!" And Alex has his say, too: "Sometimes luck is all you need to get back in form, luck certainly seems to be with KP today!"
