That utter fraud Richard Hoagland does IN FACT solicit money on 'Coast to Coast AM'. I have no desire to get into a revert war--you can verify this fact either by listening every night for about six months (not recommended for your sanity) or by writing to the producer:
Lisa Lyon
Producer, "Coast to Coast AM"
Premiere Radio Network
15260 Ventura Blvd.
SHERMAN OAKS, CA 91403
The fact that the producers permit unaudited soliciting is, of course, a gross abuse of the public airwaves, and possibly illegal. All the more reason to expose the practice.

Stu, I've been listening to Hoagland on the Art Bell Show/Coast to Coast AM for some ten years and still have a few marbles left. I think that mentioning his solicitation of donations for The Enterprise Mission from listeners of a late-night radio program, and also his promotions of his book, videos and speaking engagements, to be irrelevant and unworthy of an encyclopedia article.

- I do not. It greatly speaks of his motivations. Other editors such as the above one are in agreement with me, and I hear only you on your own side. Please do not change the article again until we've discussed it in the talk page, and beyond that I may seek further action. -- Consumed Crustacean | Talk | 23:59, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- You are welcome. Something possessed me to give the Hoagland article a belated spring cleaning. I think I'm about a third of the way to completion. It also needs a good restructuring -- too much stuff in the "Background" section. Alan G. Archer (talk) 22:14, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
ref. 127 (Grossinger) alleges that Hoagland wrote most of 'Monuments of Mars' from a prison cell in California. It'd be a nice addition to the article, but my instinct tells me that we'd need a second source for something that controversial. El Ingles (talk) 15:27, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
Yes, indeed. Verified public court records would be needed. Alan G. Archer (talk) 06:51, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
