Hi, I support your position in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Zhitro Please see my posts there.
Hello,
My apologies for the delay, but per your request, I did some more extensive work on the Vajrasattva article, including more references, and just expanding what I had written previous. Let me know if this is what you had in mind.
Thanks!

Dear Dakinijones,
For your information, the category of Feminism and Health that you so kindly placed at the end of the article Gyn Talk (Visual Fiction) was removed twice by editor Dzied Bulbash. Furthermore, Dzied Bulbash has placed the Gyn Talk (Visual Fiction) article on the list for deletion. If you would like to share your thoughts on this matter of deletion, there is a discussion on the entry for the Gyn Talk (Visual Fiction) article on the Articles for Deletion Page. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Joseph Levi (talk) 22:24, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Dear DakiniJones,
I am a dear friend of Jetsunma's and would like to compliment you on your webpage, although she is prettier than this hmmm! Perhaps you would like to send her nunnery an email telling them that she is famous even on the internet, she would laugh so much! Given that she is so very kind i am sure she will email you back with words of encouragement.

OK It's true, I have re-categorized some pages in the Pali category... but no need to panic as they are all still in that category - simply in a subcategory. If you still don't like it, feel free to re-categorize according to your own perspective. --Dakinijones (talk) 21:25, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

The category "Buddhist logic" which is accessible from the Buddhist logic page, holds Buddhist logicians as well: when u feel the calling, please create a new category and disambiguate. Would you know the appropriate forum or template to add to the chittychat page of Hetucakra to progress the creation of an image? Also I negated your recategorization of Longchen Nyingthig, please reinstate.

A few months ago, I posted a new proposal for Tibetan naming conventions, i.e. conventions that can be used to determine the most appropriate titles for articles related to the Tibetan region. This came out of discussions about article titles on Talk:Qamdo and Talk:Lhoka (Shannan) Prefecture. I hope that discussions on the proposal's talk page will lead to consensus in favour of making these conventions official, but so far only a few editors have left comments. If you would be interested in taking a look at the proposed naming conventions and giving your opinion, I would definitely appreciate it. Thanks for your contribution to the Dakini talk page. Agree with you that the citations are pretty poor and need fixing.I have some books that may give quotes or or refs to fix some of the problems you mentioned. However, I'm visually impaired and the names of the reference sites are long and difficult for me to link to the sources. Any chance you could contribute by giving the in text citation number for the references you'd like me to take a look at? I'm not on Wikipedia so often these days so if you left them on my talk page there's a better chance of me getting to see them. Regards --Dakinijones (talk) 23:47, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
Glad to say that sources 1 and 4 would be my contribution :) As far as I see it the following refs and associated material make little or no contribution to the article and could be deleted immediately without harm to the article: 3, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 21 and 22. The following refs are associated with important material and would need to be left in whilst I track down some better sources to cite: 3, 8, 10, 11, 17, 18, and 23. I think maybe the following 3 references could be redeemable. they are all published by universities and at least 2 were in print: 2, 19 and 20. If you agree with me about the refs for immediate deletion then I'll be happy to go ahead and do it. --Dakinijones (talk) 18:04, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
Footnotes 19 and 20 can both be found on google books so it'll be easy enough to put them into proper form. infact I'll get to work on that this week. Looking further at number 2, maybe it needs to go into the Find a better citation category since it's an unpublished work in progress (and to some extent its info repeats material elsewhere in the article... ) Although it'd be good to retain a Dzogchen perspective. Does it meet RS criteria if it doesn't have an ISBN number?
Yes it does make things much easier for me visually if the discussion continues here and I appreciate your offer to put a link here from the talk page so that others have a chance to comment. I suggest we set a timeline for when to stop waiting for comments. Any ideas about what would be an appropriate amount of time? The Dakini article hasn't been particularly active in the past so I don't know how many people will want to comment on it. Although it'd be good to hear any opinions people have to offer, especially about deletions. I've been thinking this article needs a radical overhaul for years But not something to be done without community input. --Dakinijones (talk) 21:33, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 03:02, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi am away from home without login. I see loads as pure summaries of articles, so it follows that they're no place for anything new. To add new ideas, find reliable sources, write text in body of article, cite it, and then see if article as a whole needs to be summarized differently to include a mention of the new claim. Most new details won't need to be mentioned in lead. Hope this helps. 213.205.242.77 (talk) 20:49, 21 December 2019 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Kautilya3. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Zhangzhung, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 11:53, 3 August 2020 (UTC)

Hello there! Interested in having a chat with fellow Wikipedians? There's a meetup in Leeds on Saturday 4th May 2024, at the Tiled Hall Café at Leeds Central Library.
You're receiving this one-off message as you're either a member of WikiProject Yorkshire, you've expressed an interest in a previous Leeds meetup years ago, or (for about 4 of you), we've met :)
I plan to organise more in future, so if you'd like to be notified next time, please say so over on the meetup page.
Please also invite any Wikimedia people you know (or have had wiki dealings with) – spread the word! Hope to see you there.

Dear Dakinijones,
I'd like to extend a cordial invitation to you to join the Fifteen Year Society, an informal group for editors who've been participating in the Wikipedia project for fifteen years or more. Additionally, if I may speak on behalf of the WikiProject Buddhism community, congratulations on this milestone. It is heartwarming to see you as an active user after all these years. Take good care, my friend. Namo Buddhaya!
