Tropical Storm Maria is a Cape-Verde type tropical cyclone currently threatening the Lesser Antilles recently damaged by Hurricane Irma.[1] It is the thirteenth named storm of the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season. Maria's wake prompted Antigua and Barbuda's third hurricane watch in a span of two weeks.[2]
