User:RichardW57/Precise System of Transliteration of Thai
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Precise System of Transliteration of Thai was introduced in 1939 as a fuller version of the Royal Thai General System of Transcription (RTGS). Whereas the RTGS does not show tones or vowel length, the Precise System is intended to show tones and indicate unpronounced letters[1]. It is therefore a combined transcription and transliteration[citation needed].
